Local news outlets have reported that a man fell to his death from an apartment building on Ridge Boulevard near 68th Street.

The fall occurred after 10am yesterday, May 4, according to a report from Helen Klein of the Home Reporter, and was discovered “unconscious and unresponsive.” Paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene.

Max Jaeger of BrooklynDaily.com reports that the 23-year-old victim fell from the fourth floor of the building, and that police sources indicated that he had a history of mental-health issues and are investigating the death as a possible suicide.

A local source who had spoken with police, but did not want to be named because they were not authorized to discuss it, told Hey Ridge that police continue to investigate and do not at this time suspect foul play.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
